I am excited about the work I do and truly believe in the power of using DBT with my clients. Most of my clients come to me after experience with talk therapy and/or some experience with DBT and are looking to answer the question, “What now?” My ultimate goal for clients is to help them understand their emotions and behaviors, regain control over powerful emotions while creating more desired ones, and find relief from emotional suffering.
In addition to my work with DBT, I have a special focus in family therapy, eating disorder treatment, OCD, depression and anxiety, and shame. I have experience working at all levels of care including: long-term and short-term residential houses, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and private practice settings.
